Van Damme joined the team before he was broken in. He is a naturally talented sport horse and qualified for the German Young Horse Championships three consecutive years (five, six and seven), as well as competing at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses as a five and six year old. As seven years he has gathered several placings at Prix St. George level. Van Damme shows natural talent for collection. “We definitely see him as an up and coming Grand Prix Horse”, underlines Fabian.
“He is incredibly ambitious, he always wants to get everything right and learns extremely fast”, enthuses Carina. “He is a real clown, he enjoys pulling off his own boots, putting his foot in his bucket and annoying his neighbor in the paddock or stable… and when he sleeps, he snores”, laughs Carina.
